GRBR Terms & Conditions – The Great Reno Balloon Race

Highlights of Terms

You own the photos or other Content that you submit (as defined below). Nothing in these Terms changes that.
You are giving The Great Reno Balloon Race (GRBR) a license to use the content in and on the platforms GRBR uses for advertising, marketing, and/or promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media channels, websites, emails, apps, and print publications (both internal and third party). GRBR will have free reproduction and usage rights.
If any third party has any rights to your content (e.g. someone else took a photo or appears in a photo), you represent that you have all the rights and permissions needed from those third parties to grant GRBR the license to use your content in accordance with the Terms, and nothing in the content is inappropriate or defamatory, and to hold GRBR harmless from any claims made against it as a result of your content.
You voluntarily agree to waive all “moral rights” that you may have to your content.
You are releasing GRBR from any liability arising out of its use of the content as described in the Terms and you promise not to sue GRBR for such use.
To enter a contest hosted by GRBR or a GRBR-collaborated partner contest, you must be at least 18 years of age. Please note that GRBR employees and/or their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in this contest. Immediate family includes spouses, partners, parents and their respective children.
Photo contest entries become the property of GRBR and GRBR will have free reproduction and usage rights.

Participant Agreement

By including and/or tagging @RenoBalloon, #RenoBalloonRace, #GreatRenoBalloonRace, and/or any additional brand hashtags established by The Great Reno Balloon Race (GRBR) in content and/or captions shared on social media, you grant GRBR permission to include said content for advertising, marketing, and/or promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media channels, websites, emails, apps, and print publications (both internal and third party). Photos become the property of GRBR and GRBR will have free reproduction and usage rights.

You agree that you are solely responsible for your content. GRBR is not required to host, display, or distribute any content on or through the websites and may remove content at any time or refuse content for any reason. GRBR is not responsible for any loss, theft, misuse, or damage of any kind of your content.

You are at least 18 years of age; you have the legal right to enter into this agreement; and you are not impersonating anyone else.
You own all rights in and to your content including without limitation, all rights to the audio, video, and/or digital recording and performance contained in your content (if any); and/or you have acquired all necessary rights to the elements appearing in your content to enable you to grant the same rights to GRBR as described herein.
Your content is wholly original and does not infringe on the copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or any other intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other legal or moral rights of any third-party individual or entity.
You agree to release and allow all creative license and creative treatment in the use and production of your content at the discretion of GRBR and its affiliates.
You voluntarily agree to waive all “moral rights” that you may have to your content.
Any information contained in your content is not known to you to be false, inaccurate, or misleading.
Your content does not violate any law.
Your content does not incorporate materials from a third-party website, copyright-protected materials, or personally identifiable information of anyone other than yourself.

INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT
Any obscene, provocative, offensive, or otherwise questionable content provided to GRBR will not be considered and will be excluded. The GRBR retains in its sole discretion, the right to determine what constitutes inappropriate, obscene, provocative, offensive and/or questionable content.

Contest Eligibility

To enter a contest hosted by The Great Reno Balloon Race (GRBR) or a GRBR-collaborated partner contest, you must be at least 18 years of age. Please note that GRBR employees and/or their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in this contest. Immediate family includes spouses, partners, parents and their respective children. You may win only one contest promotion every two calendar years, which includes contests for a balloon ride, Cloud 9 experiences, merchandise, and anything deemed as a contest prize.

Photo entries become the property of GRBR and GRBR will have free reproduction and usage rights.

LEGAL
By entering the GRBR contest, you have agreed to receive promotional information and/or to provide certain information to GRBR.

MOVE IT OR LOSE IT
The management of GRBR reserves the right to identify and choose a winner and/or runner-up winner(s). The winner will be notified via email, and he/she/it will have 48 hours from the time the email has been sent to respond to GRBR, in order to accept the contest prize. If you are chosen as the winner, but you fail to timely respond to GRBR’s email notification within 48 hours, GRBR has the right to award the contest prize to a runner-up. If the initial winner fails to respond within 48 hours, a second runner-up winner will be notified and will be given 48 hours from GRBR’s email notification to accept the contest prize. If the second runner-up winner fails to timely respond to GRBR’s notification within 48 hours, the contest prize will become null and void. Only the initial winner, the first and/or the second runner-up winner(s) are eligible to claim the GRBR contest prize. The GRBR contest prizes are non-transferable.

Prizes do not roll over to another event year. Management reserves all rights to alter or cancel the contest at any time or alter the contest rules without notice.

Modifications to these Terms and Conditions

The Great Reno Balloon Race (GRBR) may, in its sole discretion, change the terms and conditions of the contest and/or the terms concerning claiming the contest prize, at any time without notice. Management reserves all rights to alter or cancel the contest at any time or alter the contest rules without notice. The management of GRBR retains the right to alter or cancel the contest or its prize, at any time. Any such changes will be posted on https://renoballoon.com/event-info/grbr-terms-conditions/ along with the new effective date.
