Media Credential Request Form

The Great Reno Balloon Race is the world’s largest free hot-air ballooning event. With upwards of 100 hot-air balloons and 150,000+ attendees each year, the event is a permanent fixture in Reno’s September skyline. The event has floated into the hearts and minds of spectators, from around the globe, for the past 43 years.

To participate in The Great Reno Balloon Race Media Preview Day on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025, a media request form must be submitted by Friday, Aug. 22, 2025. Priority will be given to media on assignment. Additionally, a media request form must be completed if you plan on covering the event from Sept. 5 to Sept. 7, 2025.
